From time to time Bracher PTA sponsors visitors to come address our students to provide inspiring messages.  On Mon 10/22 Ballerina Aesha Ash addressed the students, discussing how she fought negative stereotypes about African-American women on her way to perform in the New York City Ballet.  She shared with our students what success means to her and how she achieved it. “Success is when you set a goal for yourself (not the goal your parents set for you, not the goal to compete with someone else, but something you need to achieve for yourself), and when through hard working you have achieved that goal You feel good about yourself.”
