In March 2016, the PTA hosted for the very first time in Bracher’s history our first Read-A-Thon!  We hoped to nurture a love for reading and to hone literacy skills.  During this month-long event, the PTA planed author visits, pajama days, and a free book-swaping fair, among other events.   

Our Principal, Mr. Leach, dyed his hair Bracher green after meeting our goal of 100,000 minutes read. The kids had a fabulous time reading and participating in different activities aimed to build momentum.  WHAT SHALL WE HAVE PRINCIPAL LEACH DO THIS YEAR?
