Successful Walk-a-Thons have enabled the PTA to raise $6,000 for student field trips, In-school Art, Choir, etc! Students, teachers, parents and Principal Leach have a fun time running and walking around the field with decorated EZ tents providing rest stops and fun activities. We want to thank Water Spring for donating all the 5 gallon jugs of purified water to keep everyone hydrated! We also want to thank all the PTA parents and volunteers who donated water bottles, made decorations, and worked hard to ensure our students were hydrated, safe, and had a fun time.

The Walk-A-Thon is one of our biggest fundraisers. Without funding from the Walk-A-Thon, many of our field trips would not be possible. In the past, field trip destinations have to the Academy of Sciences, Hidden Villa, San Jose Symphony and the San Jose Tech Museum. This is a great fundraising event as the kids are directly involved in raising money for their school.
This is a fun event for the students where they walk laps on Bracher field to the sounds of kids bop music. We provide water and fruit so students stay nourished and hydrated. This is a school-wide event; parents can expect pledge sheets to go home with their student 2 weeks before the walk-a-thon. We accept cash, check, credit and PayPal. Please encourage family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to sponsor your student. We welcome and need volunteers so if you are interested, please send us an email at bracherpta@gmail.com.
